Direct Communication

Use direct words to clearly express your thoughts, feelings, and needs. Be clear about what you want or need from the other person.

Active Listening

Listen actively without interrupting or judging others. Show your face with body language, eye contact, and appropriate responses.

Power and Body Language

Use a confident and respectful tone of voice. Keep your body open and relaxed, avoid aggressive or submissive movements, and maintain eye contact.

The “I” Sentence

Use the word “I” not to criticize or criticize, but to express what you think and feel. For example, “When I feel bad… Instead of ‘You always piss me off…’

Set Boundaries

Define your own limits clearly and communicate them with confidence. Let others know where you think their behavior or behavior is acceptable.

Say No

Learn to say “no” when you have to decline a request or edit. Provide a brief explanation if necessary, but avoid being overly descriptive or feeling the need to justify your answer too much.

Helpful Hints

Give feedback to others in a constructive and respectful way. Use specific examples and focus on behavior rather than personal attacks or criticism.

Empathy and Understanding

Demonstrating insight and understanding of other people’s thoughts and feelings. Even if you disagree, accept their point of view and try to respond in a balanced and thoughtful way.

Stress Management

Learn to effectively manage your stress by describing and expressing yourself. Make sure your emotions do not go out of hand. Take a deep breath, stop, and think before you react to the situation.

Confidence Practice

Build and maintain confidence in your abilities, thoughts, and decisions. Believe in your worth and worth as a person who will help you get to know yourself better.

Remember that acceptance is about finding a balance between expressing your needs and respecting the rights and limits of others. Developing assertive skills takes time and effort, but they can improve your communication skills and relationships with others.
