Live each day at a time

Posted on By Harun Mbijiwe No Comments on Live each day at a time

It’s Sunday morning 10th of April 2020. Am in my seating room and the sun rays are entering gracefully through the window.

I am just thinking of how I shall manage my deficit in this Covid-19 pandaemic error. I am in dia need of around $80. I have only $17 and I dont know how I will get the rest.

Stress builds up and like a pin fall, my heart gives me an answer and distructs my thoughts. Psa 118:24 MKJV1962 This [is] the day [which] the LORD has made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. I settle for a moment to think about it. That reminds me of a nugget I wrote in one of my books Principles of Excellent Performance.

“Yah sure. What do I need today. ” I asked myself.

“Around $20. Let me settle that, then tomorrow’s sorrows will be dealt with when morrow comes.”

Well my mind settles for that and tension goes down. I feel relieved and takes my phone to write this article.

The answer has already been given. Live each day at a time. One of the greatest error of our time is living tomorrow today. The reason why we develop stress sometimes is because of carrying yesterday’s and tomorrow’s baggage today.

We must learn from David, that this is the day that God has given to us let us be glad in it. Jesus one of the greatest teacher in history said, tomorrow will take care of itself(Mat 6:34). In simple, let each day’s problems be dealt with daily.

I am certain David wrote this when he was being pursued daily by his predecessor Saul. He knew he had many troubles in the past, but that was gone. He also knew he had a lot to fix in future, but that was not yet. Therefore, he settled for ‘today’.

I know we have a lot that has not gone well in the past, but that is history. I know we have a lot that is waiting for us, but that is future. At this point in time, if we shall settle for today’s goodies and solve what we can we can live better.

If you can be able to get a daily food, eat and be glad this day. Tomorrow’s problems will be dealt with as the day unfolds. If you can foot few bills today, do it and be glad. What can wait till morrow let it wait.

Affirm that tomorrow will be better than today. Encourage your heat, spouse, friend, children and let each one know though today is not the best, but good days are coming.

Make a shout to a friend or a neighbor if the situation is going out of hand don’t die alone. Don’t stay in hunger at this trying time, speak out if need be.

In conclusion, I will encourage you to live each day at a time.

Read more in my wonderful book sold at Smashwords.com Principles of excellent performance. This will help you to know how to affirm and also live each day a time and much more.
