Power of words

Posted on By Harun Mbijiwe No Comments on Power of words

As the saying from the Bible goes, “There is death and life in the tongue” this is true. With just words we can build and demolish. We can lift and we can put down. We can heal a or kill. We can break or mend. It all lies between your teeth. To destroy or to make.

I have realized my life turns around for good or for worse in regard to my choice of words.

Many of us kill our dream in the time of conception. This is because we choose the wrong words and speak the aloud. ‘Oh that won’t work! I have ever tried it but it did not work! Am good for nothing! I can’t do anything right!’ These type of statements are more dangerous than you can imagine. When they come out of your mouth, they destroy the foundations where your powerful thoughts lie. They provide a soggy base which leave all what you had thought crumbling to nothing.

Any time you want to win a battle, be positively charged. The more you speak great words of encouragement to yourself, you lay a strong foundation for your successes. Any time you feel like you are not equal to the task and speak negative, your failure knocks in like a robber.

Believe in your God given abilities and you shall never be the same. In my book principles of excellent performance I encourage my readers to be always positive in their thinking even though situations are dictating otherwise. That power to move on each day at a time will move you closer to your destiny. Be vigilant, your words can build you or destroy you. Use positive words and build yourself.
