You are not limited

Posted on By Harun Mbijiwe 2 Comments on You are not limited

A person is limited only in the way he thinks. The world’s marathon champion Eliud Kipchoge was the first runner to run under 2 hours. The whole world saw it as he smashed 1:59:40 new world record in Viena. This showed us the ability put in each person’s life by His maker.

Kipchoge’s slogan that no person is limited came alive from that day to date. It is true that we human beings can do much greater than others see about us. It all lies in the belief about self that we have.

Many people have gone down history books just because they dared believe in the ability that lay under their skin. They challenged themselves to break the limits by overcoming every obstacle in their lives.

To mention but a few, On 29 May 1953, Edmund Hillary and Tenzing Norgay became the first climbers confirmed to have reached the summit of Mount Everest.

Abraham Lincoln was the man behind the end of slavery in America. He stood his ground to fight the vice and went down the history lane for such a brave move.

Nelson Mandera spent 20 years in prison for being an anti-apartheid crusader. But in 1994 was inaugurated as the president of the Republic of South Africa after breaking the chains of apartheid.

Moses the Jewish leader in the time of Pharaoh Ramsey, led the children of Israel out of slavery by the mighty hand of God. He went against the draconian rule and refused to be called an Egyptian. He decided to suffer with his people Israel. This bravery act led to freedom of Israel.

Thomas Edison, the American inventor made it possible for us to see the light out of his many failures to produce a light bulb. He rose each day with enthusiasm and made history.

All these and much more tells us that no one is limited in his ability to achieve, except for his ability to keep his dream alive.

You are born with much in you. Your daily dreams are varied. You were made to fulfill those dreams. If not you, then you can be sure there isn’t another. Think of it like this. If Edison did not invent a light bulb what kind of the world would it be at that time to date.

Conclusion

I am asking you to gather your courage. Come out of the woods and do what you are made to do. Face your fears and challenge your obstacles today. You can do much than you see and what people can see. Just believe you are the one to accomplish that task and no other. We are waiting for you, arise and shine.

Remember though we are not perfect, we are not limited!
